„If two worlds meet, a vision originates.“
(Ecki Stieg, radiopresenter, journalist)
So one could circumscribe Waldrick, which belongs to one of the interesting new projects, which connect experimental IDM and Industrial to a thrilling, cinematic mixture.
Brought to life in 2014, the both members Thorsten Berger and Waldemar Müller have developed an efficient and congenial approach: Thorsten Berger who can celebrate international success already with his Industrial Noise project FabrikC hits on the visions of Waldemar Müller, who is infiltrated by the IDM scene, which develop in this constellation deep, associative sound pictures and acoustic films which carry on the one hand the propelling strength of the Rhythm & Noise as a Backbone in themselves, at the same time leave space for constantly changing, graphic sound experiments.
In this form and in this genre definitively unique in Hannover!
Thus originated in 2015 the impressive debut album "Subtraction Of Light" whose varied tracks indicate the whole facet wealth and to many, in several directions to usual ways from Waldrick in a very homogeneous general view. Of their adoptive country Hannover is dedicated the topical work of the project:
"Marshland" unites individual associative pictures to Hannover to a tonal trip through the capital of Lower Saxony. Accordingly the whole experience is many-sided with this draught album: propelling beats alternate with epic surfaces and special melody curves. If one gets involved in this 75 minutes long trip, a music experience presents itself far from the common mainstream!
